"The whole family loves the canopy tent. Do examine your needs before purschaing. I choose the eclispe because i wanted a tent appropriate for personal use. Our family has had many meals outside enjoying the fresh air on our deck.. I did not find the set up and take down problematic. It does take some learning but once you know how to do its fine. One helpful salesperson told me that the tent is designed to be set up by only 2 people. I must say that the weight bags are pretty much mandatory for use though. They hold down the tent through fairly strong winds just fine. We love the eclipse tent and would highly recommend it. "

"I have had my Eclipse tent for 3 yrs. It is not the easiest item to collapse at first...you have to get used to it...and if you are always using it as we are you will get the hang of it! We have used it on the sand at the beach, concrete and indoors. It is slightly on the pricey side but worth it. If you are seeking a versatile and professional tent buy it."

Does the steel frame of the Eclipse II last longer than the aluminum frame?
A:
The steel frame is very durable and is also in our Heavy Duty Professional Eclipse II line. Customers usually choose to go with the Steel vs. Aluminum due to weight. The Eclipse II frame in both the Steel or Aluminum have a warranty of 5-years and will last beyond that timeline when treated with respect and packaged and set up properly.
Q:
Can I leave my canopy up year round?
A:
The EZ UP Instant Canopy units are recommended as an instant structure that can be used for recreational or professional use. We would not recommend leaving the unit up throughout the year as it can cause undue stress on the unit. Also the majority of damage is caused when units are left alone in storm and stray branches or debris comes in contact with your unit.
